...There are lots of farm ponds around for fishing and waterfowl. There are several large tracks of Crop Reduction Program (CRP) fields that are in the Kansas walk-in hunting program and several of the area ponds in the walk-in fishing program close to the lodge. We are located within 30 minutes of Glen Elder Reservoir and Jamestown Lake with public hunting opportunities.
M&M Twin Creeks Lodge now offers private and leased land for deer and upland game hunters for an additional reasonable fee!
In the early morning and at dusk it is common to see twenty to fifty Turkey’s in the fields around the lodge, and small groups of whitetail deer, some walk right through farmyard next to the house. Bobcats and Coyotes are also local residents of the area and can be heard at night in the surrounding hills and wooded areas. Hoot Owls, Sand Hill Cranes and red-tailed hawks are common to the area and I have viewed several bald eagles over the years during my outdoor adventures around the lodge.
If you like wide open spaces and quiet places then you will enjoy your stay at the lodge.
